Looking forward to reflecting and adjusting course where needed for the new year. I know that every day, every hour, minute, and second brings the chance to step out and into change. But the start of a new year is always inspiring. Maybe the thought of the entire world starting off a new year brings a sense of togetherness that we don’t often get to feel unless there is a worldwide crisis.
I was recently reading “The Isolation Journals” by Suleika Jaouad’s. She started a 100 day project after being released from the hospital after her bone marrow transplant in 2022. Follow the link below if you want to read about her project.
Sounds awesome right? I’m all over it!
I’ve already invited my soul sister/friend Ashley and she rogered right up. She is a soul sister in many ways. We keep finding ourselves thinking the same things, looking in the same direction and even reading the same lessons. I’ve learned a lot from her and there’s more to come.
Here’s the current plan for my 100 day project:
I will spend at least 15 minutes a day creating or improving something from January 1st to April 9th. I am going to write (blog, letter, thank-you note), take photos in my back yard, plant something, cook/bake something, paint, or draw.
Doing anything consistently for 100 days is going to shift some brain matter.
I decided to invite everybody because - sharing. And - grown ass woman. There is zero pressure to do this with us, it’s just a cool idea that might be exactly what you were looking for.
Buckets of love to you and your tribe.
Hope the last 6 days of 2023 are fandamntastic!
What are you going to put in your pretty little notebook, sister?
